Abstract
"Artistic Accent: A Collection of Designs" is a project led by Mrs Saziya Sheikh, Head of Department in Fashion Designing, with co-guidance from Mrs Harsha Samarth, Ms Vaishali Sharma, and Mrs Poonam Thakur. Inspired by the renowned French painter Oscar Claude Monet, a pioneer of Impressionism, the collection features designs that embody Monet's artistic style, translating his brushwork and color schemes into wearable art. This fusion of fashion and Impressionist art is further enriched by a photo shoot that reimagines Monet's famous paintings, creating a visual story that brings Impressionist masterpieces to life through fashion.
