Abstract
The presentation was given at Pondicherry University during an online refresher course on 'Library Science and Information Technology'. The author outlined all the concepts of library weblogs as tools to disseminate information. It included 21 slides, highlighting the top library weblogs in India and the top ten internationally, along with their functioning and screenshots. The speaker explained that a blog is a valuable resource for academic libraries to offer modern services and showcase electronic resources. It is a new online platform effectively utilised by libraries worldwide to update users about their resources and services.
