    This Powerpoint presentation was delivered to the Research Development Cell at Nagpur University to request a research grant for 2024. The project aims to provide open access to institutional research outputs through self-archiving and to preserve other digital assets, including unpublished or easily lost literature.It creates a platform for sharing knowledge, encouraging collaboration and interdisciplinary learning.The repository seeks to promote and support the college's research activities and academic publications. These objectives were presented to the committee to clarify the project's goal. The proposal intends to establish the investigator as a knowledge manager and to enhance the S.S. Girls' College Library's national recognition in the domain of e-content. Moving forward with this study is crucial. This is the project's first presentation to the RDC at Nagpur University for a research grant.
