dc.description.abstractOn January 12, 2013, the Marathi Department of S.S. Girls College, Gondia, organised a one-day national conference titled " The Role of Muslim Poets in Marathi Poetry, " sponsored by the University Grants Commission. Led by Prof. Kavita Rajabhoj, Head of the Marathi Department, and Dr. N. K. Bahekar, the college Principal, the event aimed to examine the contributions of Muslim poets to Marathi literature. It gathered scholars, researchers, and students nationwide to discuss how Muslim poets have shaped Marathi poetry. The objectives included studying their role in the evolution of Marathi poetry, analysing their themes, styles, and techniques, and understanding their influence on Marathi culture and society.
