dc.description.abstractThe "Bride Collection: A Collection of Designs" project is led by Mrs Saziya Sheikh, Head of Fashion Design, with Mrs Harsha Samarth and Mr Vaishali Sharma, Lecturers, as co-guides, all under the Design Development program. It explores the core of Indian bridal attire, emphasising the importance of 'Sindoor' as a symbol of marital joy. The collection draws inspiration from designer Gaurang Shah's showcased pieces at Lakme Fashion Week, where Sindoor inspired breathtaking bridal designs that seamlessly merge tradition with contemporary fashion.
