Abstract
'Me Wanvasi' is the autobiography of Smt. Sindhu Tai Sapkal, a well-known social worker and activist from Maharashtra, published by Riya Publication, Kolhapur, in 2013, at a cost of ₹130. It details her heartfelt journey from childhood through her challenges as a wife and mother, culminating in her work as a social activist, as reviewed by Ku. Shruti Ukey. Sindhu Tai's story highlights her courage, resilience, and determination, overcoming many hurdles to become a symbol of hope. She is especially recognised for her selfless dedication to orphaned children, offering them love, care, and opportunities for a better future. This book is essential reading for those interested in understanding the struggles of women in rural India and the impact one person can have. The review is in Marathi.
