Abstract
Essay - Importance of Reading by Ku. Aarushi Aagrika (11th Arts). She states that 'Reading' is a key activity that promotes intellectual development. It is not just a hobby but an enlightening activity. She explains that reading sparks creativity and imagination, acts as a reservoir of knowledge, provides psychological and emotional advantages, fosters discipline and concentration, and encourages lifelong learning and personal growth. She concludes that 'those who read books can understand reality and life and achieve success.' This essay was submitted for the 'Reading Campaign' Essay competition in January 2025.
