The project aims to provide open access to institutional research outputs through self-archiving and to preserve other digital assets, including unpublished or easily lost literature.It creates a platform for sharing knowledge, encouraging collaboration and interdisciplinary learning.The repository seeks to promote and support the college's research activities and academic publications. These objectives were presented to the committee to clarify the project's goal. The proposal intends to establish the investigator as a knowledge manager and to enhance the S.S. Girls' College Library's national recognition in the domain of e-content. Moving forward with this study is crucial. This mid-term presentation evaluates the progress of the RDC research project. It features travel visit pictures, the URL of the Institutional Repository (IR) for S.S. Girls' College with NDLI, and explains the work process.Item PowerPoint - Library Weblogs: An Online Tool For Information Sharing and Dissemination(LIbrary Department, SSGC,Gondia, 2021) Prof R.D Wagh (Librarian)The presentation was given at Pondicherry University during an online refresher course on 'Library Science and Information Technology'. The author outlined all the concepts of library weblogs as tools to disseminate information. It included 21 slides, highlighting the top library weblogs in India and the top ten internationally, along with their functioning and screenshots. The speaker explained that a blog is a valuable resource for academic libraries to offer modern services and showcase electronic resources. It is a new online platform effectively utilised by libraries worldwide to update users about their resources and services.Item PowerPoint- MOPAC (Mobile Online Paublic Access Catalogue)(LIbrary Department, SSGC Gondia, 2023-10-15) Dr. R.D. Wagh (Librarian)S.S Girls College library is computerized with LIBMAN (Library Management System) and cloud computing facility by Mastersoft Nagpur since 2022. LIBMAN provides a mobile app through which students can access the library collection. To train students on this mobile app, a Powerpoint was created, and an orientation was given to students about 'MOPAC'- Mobile Online Public Access Catalogue.PPT contains 8 slides and a video on how to download the MOPAC app from Play Store.Item PowerPoint -Library Orientation Programme organised by College Library(Library Department, SSGC Gondia, 2019-09-12) Prof R.D.Wagh (Librarian)Each year, the college's library department hosts a 'Library Orientation Programme for freshers,' targeting BA 1st, BSc 1st, BFD 1st and first-year postgraduate students.
