Women encounter multiple social challenges, such as female foeticide and infanticide, highlighting persistent gender bias. Illiteracy restricts their opportunities and independence, preventing full societal contribution. Additionally, women experience different types of abuse—physical, emotional, and domestic—often remaining silent due to fear or shame. These problems affect not just individual women but also impede the growth and progress of communities and nations.
